Mark Raymond made his first edged weapon at about the age of ten when he removed the handles from, and then sharpened, four butter knives. After crimping them into the modified ends of four spiles (Syrup tapping spouts that fit suspiciously well over your fingers) and mating them to a glove, he had created an interesting and very real “Freddy Krueger” glove that did get him into no small amount of trouble. Thirty years later things haven’t changed much and Mark is making his own edged weapons and tools.
