Mayhem Half Axe

This prototype axe is 18 inches of 11/32 inch thick O-1 tool steel. It has a 4 1/4 inch cutting edge and black G-10 handle slabs attached with flared tubes. 

This has some marks here and there from being taken in and out of the kydex sheath. The handle also has wear marks from being carried around in a backpack, but the axe has not been used. 

Like most of my prototypes, the handle is not epoxied on in case I want to remove them to change or replace them ( or in case they break, which has not happened ).
